Rev. Dr. Laura A. Saffell

After serving for 25 years as an elder in the United Methodist Church, I am now an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church believing that God has called me into this new movement where Methodism can be multiplied, where disciples are equipped to make disciples, and where like-minded, warm-hearted, spirit-filled, Jesus-loving, evangelical, orthodox Wesleyan Christians are committed to offering the whole gospel to the whole world.

We get to be a part of the Allegheny West Provisional Annual Conference that encompasses all of Ohio and Western Pennsylvania with circuits of 12-15 churches connected and coached by a presiding elder. To know more about who we are and where we connect, check out the website at www.alleghenywestgmc.org and make sure to sign up for the communications to keep up to date on all the upcoming happenings.

I am grateful to be on this journey with my husband and unofficial partner in ministry, Jarrett. We are parents to Nick and Kathryn as well as grandparents to an adorable grandson. We love to camp and adventure together as well as serve on mission with children, youth, and adults reaching out to the least, the last, and the lost. We love Jesus and love to see people transformed by Him through His Holy Spirit.

Let’s journey together as we seek to make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus! Together, “we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done… so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God” (Psalm 78:4,6-7).

Jessica Faloon

Custodian
Jessica was born in Texas, then moved back to her mother's hometown of Burgettstown, PA as a baby.  After graduating high school she pursed an education at Slippery Rock University for Parks and Recreation Resource Management. There she found more love and awe of the outdoors' beauty and peace it brings your soul.  After graduation, Jessica took some time and started volunteering at an animal shelter, where she adopted her first dog and meet her partner. After that, their little family grew to 4 dogs. She is now following her dream of working in the agriculture industry.
